Army: Infiltration Attempt by an Individual Foiled Along Northern Border

Al-Taj News – The Northern Military Region foiled, on Tuesday evening, an infiltration attempt by an individual through one of its border fronts, after Border Guard Forces spotted him while he was attempting to cross the border illegally.

The Border Guard Forces dealt with the infiltrator in accordance with the applicable rules of engagement, successfully apprehended him, and referred him to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal measures against him.

The Jordanian Armed Forces affirm that the Border Guard Forces continue to carry out their duties with full efficiency and capability to protect the Kingdom’s borders and safeguard its sovereignty, firmly confront various forms of infiltration and illegal activities, enhance the Kingdom’s security and stability, and preserve the safety of the nation and its citizens.
